Matt 19:14 But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven. We do no greater harm to our children and ourselves if we do not come to Christ to seek His blessing as a covenantal family. The parents who brought these children to Jesus came with expectant hearts to receive His blessing. They came to Him, not for healing as their children were not stricken with any malady, but solely desiring to seek Christ’s blessings upon their precious little ones. They realized that only, and no one else, could command this spiritual blessing upon their children. As parents, are we seeking spiritual blessing for our children from Christ our Lord or is this desire overshadowed by the pursuit of academic excellence? And have we, as parents, nurtured our children in the fear and knowledge of God (Deut 6)? Let us rethink our priorities to put God first and to honour Him. Moreover, we are to recognize that we have the grave responsibility to bring up our children in the knowledge of God. May we persevere with much supplication to God, that by His grace, they would grow up to be men and women after God’s own heart. Parents, your child is never too young to learn and understand the Word of God. Life B-P Church has a vibrant and Bible-based ministry for your child. We desire that every child would be grounded in His Word through Bible stories and songs that reflect doctrinal truths every Lord’s Day. The Worship Services are conducted for children ranging from 2 to 15 years old in their respective departments. You are encouraged to bring your children to worship with us every Lord’s Day.
