| Adults' Fellowship
There will be an enjoyable series of activities for the Adults’
Fellowship in 2008. In addition to our Outings to the parks, Gatherings
for sumptuous food, missions, visitations and monthly meetings, there’ll
be workshops.
The theme for AF for 2008 is "Growing Spiritually
despite Adversity". There is adversity at the work place where we
are constantly stressed, adversity at home between spouses or with
disobedient children and even adversity in church. How then do we grow
spiritually and not allow such adversity to overwhelm us?
The AF will be screening a few DVDs in a series of
workshops. The stories are inspiring and encourage us to examine
ourselves. Are we right with God? What is God’s direction for us? How do
we seek His will?
Each movie will be about an hour in length and after
which we will break up into small groups to discuss a number of
questions relating to the movie.
I’m sure it will be an enriching experience to all of
us as we learn precious spiritual lessons through the movie and
discussions.
All are invited whether you are an AF member or not.
Also keep a look out for a flyer that will be
disseminated to the Church one week before the workshop.
Please pray that the workshops will be edifying and
inspiring for all.

Objectives
a) To foster Christian Fellowship and provoke adult church members
unto love and good works
b) To establish members in the Word
of God and to cultivate a prayerful spirit
c) To encourage members in the exercise of their spiritual gifts for
ministering to one another in the Body of Christ
d) To augment the Church’s effort in extending God’s Kingdom
e) To develop and implement programmes pertinent to the needs of adult
Christians
f) To encourage members to develop their potential for positions of
responsibility in Church, the AF or family.
Eligibility
Adults who are 26 years and above.
Activities
a) Messages : Guest speakers are invited to speak on the third Sunday
of every month at 1 pm at the Music Room, Beulah House. Lunch will be
served at 12pm.
b) Visitations : Home visits to Adult Fellowship members’ homes on the
first Saturday of every month.
c) Bible study : Topical or book studies of the Bible on regular
basis.
d) Retreats and outings
Ministries
a) Manage and operate a Children’s Library
b) Short mission trips overseas
