The LF
was lovingly formed by a group of like-minded sisters to foster
Christian love, care, concern and support among our ladies for one
another, and to “do good unto all of the household of faith”.
In a nutshell, here
are our objectives:
a) To serve God and minister to His people.
b) To provide an opportunity for ladies in Life B-P Church to
fellowship with one another.
c) To study the Word of God and grow in grace and knowledge of our
Lord Jesus Christ.
Our regular activities
include:
(a) A fellowship meeting every second Friday of the month, 8pm
at the Beulah House Music Room. Apart from singing praises to God
and listening to the teaching of His Word, we also enjoy wonderful
fellowship and celebrate each other’s birthdays.
(b) Supporting Life BP’s “Love and Care Ministry” by visiting the
sick and recuperating and showing love and concern by attending
vigil services.
(c) Helping to prepare the Holy Communion elements for the first and
second worship services every month.
Wondering what you can expect by joining us?

In the LF, I get to enjoy fellowship with members of the same
faith. Also, all of us constantly encourage each other as we learn
God’s word and practise it while exploring the various avenues for
service.
•
-
The fellowship’s great and the opportunities to learn God’s word
and grow in faith are really precious to me…
•
-
I come to LF as I feel blessed by the fellowship of Christian
ladies. Also, it’s no secret that a Christian’s walk with God is
never easy. But the mutual encouragement I get from LF ladies
really helps.
•
-
I grew up joining fellowship groups as I personally feel that all
Christians should have a fellowship group. Hence I chose LF and
the wonderful programmes and fellowship there have really make me
feel I’m a part of the church.

Ladies’ Fellowship (LF)
May 2004-April 2006 Term End Report
The LF welcomed sisters Lim Gaik Lee and Mary Leong into the
executive committee. Together with sisters Grace Seow, Enid Ling, Jenny
Kan and Jennifer Goh, the LF continued to serve God faithfully. The LF
wish to thank Elder Chin Hoong Chor, our Advisor, for his godly guidance
and exhortation during this term.
A greater awareness of LF was achieved through the celebration
of Mother’s Day: In May 2004, the LF prepared gifts of chocolates with a
Bible verse for mothers. The following year, the LF made bookmarks for
the church.
The LF worked in partnership with the Men’s Fellowship (MF) to
present song items during Sunday Worship. In addition, there were also
combined meetings with MF.
Several outings were organized to foster interaction with
members of other fellowship groups.

A Love & Care Ministry was started, with visitations held every
2nd Saturday. LF supported the pastoral team in the
visitation ministry and had been blessed with the privilege of sharing
the Gospel, comforting the sick or bereaved and encouraging the needy or
lonely. In particular, we witnessed the salvation of Audrey Lui’s
brother, the mothers of Lee Him Buan, Christina Cheong, Tang Kwee Kheng,
Lun Chee Leong and Katherine Lee. Special mention should be made of
Brother Vincent Goh and Sister Lillian Lim for serving tirelessly and
cheerfully as our transport personnel in all our visitations.
The LF supported the Church in its programmes and activities.
One responsibility undertaken was that of coordinating and providing
refreshments at lectures and seminars organized by the church. The LF
also served as counselors at gospel meetings and ushers at worship
services. Moreover, the LF undertook the preparation of Holy Communion
elements.
Some members attended the Equipping for Effective Evangelism
classes conducted by Dn Lee Pak Sing and experienced the pleasure of
street evangelism.
The LF supported missions through love gifts and visits to the
mission stations. In 2005, the LF visited Batam Mission Station and
delivered the Christmas Story with gifts and games for all. This was
followed by another visit in 2006 where the LF taught Bible lessons and
gave a session on flower arrangement.
The average attendance at monthly meetings was 35. The
messages were predominantly devotional. The LF is looking into starting
small group discussions after the messages. Pre-meeting prayer sessions
were initiated and were a source of blessing for all who attended.
Feedback from surveys enabled the LF to encourage more members
to serve in various ways like preparing the meeting room, ushering, and
leading pre-meeting prayer sessions. The ladies also came together to
sew puppets and costumes for the Church Resource Library.
There was also good fellowship at the homes of members on
festive occasions like Christmas and Chinese New Year.
The LF would like to praise and thank God for a fruitful term,
filled with activities. Truly it is the love of God that constraineth
us, both the LF Exco and its members for a term well spent for the Lord.
The LF continues to look to the Lord Jehovah-jireh and trust Him to
provide all our needs.
