The LF was lovingly formed by a group of like-minded sisters to foster Christian love, care, concern and support among our ladies for one another, and to “do good unto all of the household of faith”

In a nutshell, here are our objectives:

a) To serve God and minister to His people.
b) To provide an opportunity for ladies in Life B-P Church to fellowship with one another.
c) To study the Word of God and grow in grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Our regular activities include:
(a) A fellowship meeting every second Friday of the month, 8pm at the Beulah House Music Room. Apart from singing praises to God and listening to the teaching of His Word, we also enjoy wonderful fellowship and celebrate each other’s birthdays.

(b) Supporting Life BP’s “Love and Care Ministry” by visiting the sick and recuperating and showing love and concern by attending vigil services.

(c) Helping to prepare the Holy Communion elements for the first and second worship services every month.

Testimony of an LFer, Hazel Wong

Thank God from whom all blessings flow. I have much to thank God who is ever merciful and gracious to me.

Firstly, He saved me from outer darkness of eternal condemnation to His marvellous light of salvation. He has preserved my coming in and going out thus far. Great is His mercy towards me. Three years ago, He kept me safe and calm during a near plane mishap. Again, when the devastating earthquake struck China in May 2008, God preserved my life and my family. We were at the epicenter four weeks earlier. These two events bear testimony of God’s mercy towards me and my family. I am deeply indebted to the Lord for His mercy endureth forever..

Titus 3:5 - “Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy, he saved us…”

I thank God for giving me good health and strength throughout all these years. Except for a leg ailment, I have not been ill thus far. Praise be to God.

In spite of pressure at work, God has not only preserved me but blessed me with a good report. Great is His faithfulness to me.

Since joining the Ladies Fellowship (LF), I have many opportunities to get to know other sisters-in-Christ in our church through the many activities organized by the LF. As we interact and fellowship with each other and support each other with prayer and acts of encouragement.

We also come together on Saturday afternoons to have inductive Bible study. Recently, we completed a study on the book of Ruth. This is a well-known love story but the far deeper truth is it teaches us of God’s redeeming love for us. The next book we are studying is I Thessalonians.

Through the visitation programme of the LF, we are able to visit fellow brethren, be it to fellowship with them or to comfort families in times of sickness or distress. We give prayer support and encourage one another with God’s Word and testimonies of the Lord’s goodness.

Ephesian 6:10 – “As we have therefore, opportunity, let us do good unto all men especially unto them who are of the household of faith”. Amen.
